Just wanted to bring to your attention that I had to change things up a little concerning this week’s assignments.  We will be doing business letters and Ms. Starrett will be stopping by on Wednesday!  Good things this week are coming your way.   🙂

 

We are beginning our unit on business & friendly letters.   For our real-life letters, we will be writing letters to other schools across the nation!  This is a project we do every year, where each student will pick out a participating school elsewhere in the nation, write a friendly letter, and hopefully (!!) get a letter in return.  We will be having a fun contest to see which class gets the most return letters!  This is always an engaging project, and the kids are able to learn letter skills, as well as learn about kids in other parts of the country.

 

*** In order for your child to participate, he/she will need a stamped letter or $.50 to purchase one from the school.  Please have these by Friday, the day we will be mailing them out!  Thanks for your help with this fun, exciting project!
